The new design also provides the user with the option to run an aftermarket winch hook (like the Factor 55 Flatlink). The Flipster V3 is even compatible with recessed winch fairleads.
The Cascadia 4×4 Flipster V3 Winch License Plate Mounting System uses the highest quality torque hinge available.
The hinge is made of marine-grade zinc alloy, has no backlash, and can withstand well over 20,000 usage cycles.
The included aluminum spacer allows the Flipster V3 to work with either Hawse or Roller fairleads.

The Cascadia 4×4 Flipster V3 Winch License Plate Mounting System has a high durability, UV rated powdercoat finish.

WILL THE FLIPSTER WORK WITH MY WINCH/BUMPER COMBINATION?
Most likely! We’ve designed the Flipster V3 to work with as many different winch setups as possible. The Cascadia 4×4 Flipster V3 Winch License Plate Mounting System is compatible with both Hawse and Roller style fairleads.
If your fairlead is recessed into the bumper you can mount the Cascadia 4×4 Flipster V3 Winch License Plate Mounting System in “Flat-Mount” mode. This requires drilling two small holes in order to mount the Flipster above the recessed winch fairlead. We only recommend mounting in Flat-Mount mode if the bumper material is strong enough to hold the license place (ie. do not mount to thin plastic).
Most vehicle winches have a standard fairlead mounting spacing (10″ center to center), so unless you have a huge 16,000lb+ winch the Cascadia 4×4 Flipster V3 Winch License Plate Mounting System will work.
WILL THE FLIPSTER WORK WITH MY FACTOR 55 ACCESSORIES?
We’ve designed the Cascadia 4×4 Flipster V3 Winch License Plate Mounting System to fit perfectly with the Factor 55 Flat-Link. The Ultra-Hook on the other hand is too large for the Flipster to sit perfectly up and down. If installed in conjunction with an Ultra-Hook the license place will sit at an angle when flipped all the way down.
WHAT IF I BREAK IT?
The Cascadia 4×4 Flipster V3 Winch License Plate Mounting System might take the brunt of a head on collision with a rock or another vehicle at some point in its life, but no worries. We sell individual replacement parts for the Flipster.
