Clearsource Nomad dual water filters remove sediment, chlorine, volatile organic compounds, bacteria like Legionella, Salmonella, Cholera, and E. The Clearsource Nomad also provides heavy metal protection against lead, manganese, and iron. When using the Clearsource Nomad to pull fresh water from a relatively clean lake or stream you can expect our filters to filter more than 2,000 gallons of water before needing replacement.
The first stage water filter in our Clearsource Nomad system is a 5 micron coconut shell carbon block that reduces sediments and improves taste and smell.
