The Vitrifrigo Stainless Steel Drawer Series has been completely updated in both design and function. The stylish new square edge door design with the Steelock positive latch handle has the added functionality of a vent position for air circulation during periods of non-use preventing mould or bad odors in the fridge. The single section, stainless steel fitting frame allows the fridge to be securely fixed either with the door flush or proud of your cabinetry and has integrated vent slots to improve air flow and the efficiency of the cooling unit behind.

There’s a reason why Vitrifrigo uses 316 stainless steel and other brands use cheaper stainless on their refrigerators.
Stainless steel is a metal alloy that is really resistant to corrosion but not all stainless steel are the same. The most common for goods production are 304 and 306 but, even if they look the same, they have a different chemical composition. 316 stainless steel has more molybdenum (a very hard metal with a high melting point) and nickel than 304. Together and and in a small quantity both nickel and molybdenum have a hardening effect on the stainless steel. In fact those two elements make the 316 stainless steel particularly resistant to corrosion even in aggressive environments (high industrial pollution areas, marine areas etc.)
