When used as directed, Sikaflex\u00ae P2G is an appropriate adhesive for use in auto glass replacement.<\/p>\n<p>SikaFlex P2G Urethane Automotive Window Adhesive can be used primer-less on Windshields but we strongly recommend using a primer on any vehicle side windows and rear door windows. Unlike windshields, side windows and rear cargo door windows are vertical, so the primer will make for a quicker bond to the vehicle for safer installation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sikaflex P2G<\/strong> has been specifically designed for the Automotive Glass Replacement business. It is ideal for mobile and in-shop installations. This product is to be used by professional, experienced users only. All corrosion must be removed and all bare metal scrapes and scratches must be prepared in accordance with Sika&#8217;s Corrosion Treatment recommendations. For preparation of all bonding surfaces it is required to read and understand the instructions given in the Sika AGR Technician Training Manual. Windshields without ceramic coating need proper UV protection.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"productcontent\">\n<div class=\"cmp-product cmp-product--padding-right\">\n<h3>SikaFlex P2G Urethane Automotive Window Adhesive Application Instructions:<\/h3>\n<p>Cut off the tip of the nozzle in accordance with the vehicle manufacturer\u2019s recommendations and screw onto the cartridge or the unipack adapter.<\/p>\n<p>It is recommended to apply the adhesive with a piston-type application gun. Once cured, the material can only be removed mechanically.<\/p>\n<p>Hands and exposed skin have to be washed immediately using a suitable industrial hand cleaner and water.<\/p>\n<p>Do not use solvents on skin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"productcontent\">\n<div class=\"cmp-product cmp-product--padding-right\">\n<h3>SikaFlex P2G Urethane Automotive Window Adhesive Application Limits<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Avoid contact with alcohol and alcohol containing solvents during cure.<\/li>\n<li>Do not apply over silicones or in the presence of curing silicones.<\/li>\n<li>Glass parts must always be installed within the open time. The open time is significantly shorter in hot and humid climates.
