Agile Offroad and Alcon developed a complete front & rear brake upgrade kit for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. As many of you have experienced, the stopping power of the factory brakes leaves much to be desired, especially on fully built-out, heavy, camper vans and RVs.
We are often working with vehicles so heavy that despite being relatively slow, they still need up to 30 times the brake torque used by racing cars, requiring calipers made from cast iron rather than aluminum. Even on a vehicle weighing dozens of tons, our brakes must play their part in not just slowing and stopping the vehicle but helping achieve the overall design objectives.

The Agile Offroad Alcon Big Brake Upgrade for Mercedes Sprinter Vans has a -16 mm offset compared to the factory rotor hats. Because of the wider track width after installation, wheel spacers are no longer required/recommended on Agile Offroad RIP Kit-equipped vehicles.
The Agile Offroad Alcon Big Brake Upgrade for Mercedes Sprinter Vans is not compatible with Sprinters that are equipped with the factory electronic parking brake.
