Enduro Power Baja Series 300Ah 12V Deep Cycle Lithium Battery FAQ’s:

What Certifications Do Your Batteries Have?
Enduro Power batteries are UN 38.3 certified and built from the most energy dense Grade A prismatic cells to ensure you receive the ampere hour capacity you deserve. The batteries are IEC62619 tested and hold UL certification on the prismatic cells. Additional certifications include CE (EN61000), RoHS and FCC (Part15B).

What Battery Do I Need For My Recreational Vehicle?
The majority of the RV market gravitates to the 12V 100Ah (EN100BAJA) as many users find this as an easy drop-in replacement for upgrading to lithium batteries. As the need for off-grid living increases we see users gravitating to the larger capacity batteries in the 12V 200Ah (EN200BAJA) and 300Ah (EN300BAJA) ranges. These larger batteries provide higher capacities within one battery instead of the need to wire multiple batteries together.

Are Enduro Power Batteries Drop-In Replacements?
– With the space reducing design available in all Enduro Power batteries they will easily drop-into any existing space and likely free up additional space. LiFePO4 batteries can be dropped into place with most traditional chargers, but the voltages are different so for optimal performance we recommend upgrading your charge to a LiFePO4 charging profile.

Can I Use The Battery In Temperatures Below 32F?
Yes! All Enduro Power batteries have an operating temperature of -4F to 130F (-5 to 55C). All of our batteries feature Low Temperature Charging Protection to ensure your investment is protected. The BMS will not allow charging if the internal temperature of the battery is below 32F to avoid from potential irreversible damage to your LiFePO4 investment. We know you made the decision to simplify your life and spend more time seeking adventure, so we are now handling this for you.

Will An Enduro Power 12V 100Ah Battery Have A Longer Runtime Than A 12V 100Ah Lead-Acid Battery?
– Yes, all Enduro Power lithium iron phosphates will deliver 2x the runtime while also providing more constant voltage throughout the charge cycle. Lithium voltages stay almost constant so no more slow stabilizer jacks or slide extensions issue you may have had in the past with a low charged lead-acid.

How Much Do The Batteries Weigh?
Our batteries are 20% lighter than other alternatives. Saving weight and space translates into fuel savings on the road or water. We use best-in-class technology to make sure you have the lightest and most energy dense battery on the market. More detailed specifications can be found on our product detail pages.

What Size Bolts And Terminals Do You Use?
Keeping resistance low is critical in ensuring we have an efficient battery. We use M8 terminals with high spec’d large surface diameters for efficient contact. Each battery comes with 2 lengths of M8 bolts, washers and lock washers to allow for various application needs.

Do I Need To Vent These Batteries?
No! LiFePO4 batteries have no liquids or off-gassing to manage like lead-acid batteries. Lithium batteries provide you freedom to mount your batteries in just about any location in any position that fits your application.

I Need A 24 Volt Battery. Will Your Batteries Work For 24 Volts?
Yes, we offer a range of 24V specific batteries to limit the number of connections in your battery bank. However, you can also series connect two 12V batteries together to create a 24V battery if its best for your application.

What Does Deep Cycle Mean?
Enduro Power batteries are designed for DEEP CYCLE applications. Our advanced lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) technology excels at storing energy and enduring long demands for power. They are not designed to be used as starter batteries for vehicles or other similar uses.

Can I Use My Standard Charger?
Yes! You can use a standard battery charger and it will charge the batteries. However, since most chargers are designed for a lead acid battery, they are made to go up to a certain voltage. On a lead acid battery their “full” is about 13.8V. Our LiFePO4 batteries can accept a charge up to 14.6V. Most chargers will charge the batteries to 13.8V which will charge your Enduro Power battery to about 90%. For optimal performance, we recommend a charger with a lithium charge profile.

What Does Your BMS Protect Against?
Enduro Power Batteries Feature A High-Performance Battery Monitoring System (BMS) Designed To Enhance Safety And Longevity Of Your Investment. Each Battery Has An Onboard BMS With:

• Over Current Protection
• Over Voltage Protection
• Under Voltage Protection
• Overload Protection
• High Temperature Protection
• Low Temperature Protection
• Short Circuit Protection
• Cell Balancing

Can You Make Parallel Connections To Increase Capacity?
Enduro Power batteries can be connected in parallel. Parallel connections allow you to increase the ampere hour (Ah) capacity of the battery bank while maintaining the same voltage. Enduro Power’s high performance BMS supports up to 12 batteries wired in parallel. When possible, for best results we recommend using larger ampere hour (Ah) batteries to build larger capacity battery banks to reduce the number of batteries connected in parallel. This helps to reduce the number of connections which reduces the chance for inefficiencies and will make it easier to keep your LiFePO4 batteries in balance within the battery bank. Example: 3 x 12V200Ah is more efficient than 6 x 12V100Ah to build a 12V 600Ah battery bank.

Do You Support Series Connections To Increase Voltage?
Enduro Power batteries can be connected in series. Series connections allow you to increase the voltage of the battery bank while maintaining the same ampere hour (Ah) capacity. Enduro Power batteries can be connected in series in 24V, 36V and 48V configurations. When possible, for best results we recommend using a battery closer to your desired system voltage. This helps to reduce the number of connections which reduces the chance for inefficiencies and will make it easier to keep your LiFePO4 batteries in balance within the battery bank. Example: 1 x 24V100Ah is more efficient than 2 x 12V100Ah wired in series due to less connections and simplified battery bank design that promotes better cell balancing.

Will Enduro Power Batteries Really Last 10 Years?
We are serious when we say Fuel Your Adventure? We are confident you will be enjoying your Enduro Power batteries past 10 years. All Enduro Power batteries come with a 10-year warranty for manufacturer’s defects. We have designed our batteries to last 3000-5000 cycles. Even then the battery will still hold 75-80% of its rated capacity. Our founders have been in the battery industry for over a decade and know what it takes to deliver long lasting performance.

What about Vibration?
Our batteries are built with vibration handling in mind. We do this by limiting the number of internal connections. Rest assured our endurance focused mindset went into the design of your battery.

Can You Overnight Ship My Battery Order?
All lithium iron phosphate batteries are required to follow UN38.3 packaging standards and UN3840 shipping guidelines to ensure there is a safe logistics network to move batteries around the United States. Based on DOT regulations, lithium batteries with the watt hour capacity of our batteries are required to ship via ground.
