Should you wish to try to use the Fiamma 98655Z108 F80S/F65 Eagle Awning Mounting Bracket for Ford Transit for any awning shorter than 13’9″, you MUST mount the awning towards the rear of the van and you MUST cut off the excess bracket that sticks out past the roofline at the front. If you want to mount the awning all of the way to the right (front) of the van to cover the sliding side door, then you MUST use the entire length of the bracket to make sure that it is mounted properly to support the weight of the awning that is sticking out from the roof.
