Overland Vehicle Systems Nomadic Awning 2.0 (6.5 Foot) Review:

There’s nothing in this whole assembly that feels, and looks cheaply made. The aluminum frame is sturdy, the poles are easy to use and easily adjustable. The material for the shade is very durable. I thought I was getting a black cover but it came in gray. 6’x8′ coverage is huge. I’m not a big guy so it took a little while to get the hang of putting this together. Rolling this back in the Built-in zipped cover is a breeze. It has 3 velcro straps that helps the folded assembly stay in tact. The mounting brackets are universal but probably meant for newer type roof racks with modular components that allows you to easily add attachments. I have an older SUV. The crossbars don’t include holes to mount the nuts and bolts. I bought separate hose clamps to secure the bracket to the crossbars. Overall, I really like this awning. It looks very durable and I hope to have many adventures with it.
