The SporTube Series 1 Hardshell Ski/Fishing Pole Case (Orange) from Nomadic Supply Company is our smallest, lightest case and is perfect for holding one person’s gear so you can travel light and efficiently. The hard plastic shell protects your equipment whether traveling by overlanding vehicle, camper van, plane, train, or shipping via FedEx/UPS.
In addition to skis and fishing equipment, our SporTube Series 1 Hardshell Case can also be used to carry 2-3 spear guns. If you are interested in carrying more supplies including wetsuits, fins, dive belts, masks, and other dive equipment then you would want to check out our SporTube Series 2 Hardshell Ski/Fishing Pole Case and SporTube Series 3 Hardshell Ski/Fishing Pole Case.
Important note: The two holes on the outer portion of each Sportube are not meant to line up both holes at the same time with holes on the inner rib. They are staggered by design to give you smaller increments of adjustment, i.e. about every ½” rather than every 1 ½”. Having the tip and tail of the case as tight as possible against the tip and tails of the skis, reduces any chance of movement within the case and therefore reduces the risk of damage.
