The Backwoods Hi-Lite Overland Front Bumper for 2014-2023 Toyota 4Runner gets its name from its aggressive, high-clearance design and its ultra-lightweight construction, and is specifically designed to provide strength where you need it and to save weight everywhere else.
Backwoods Hi-Lite Overland Front Bumper for 2014-2023 Toyota 4Runner features a full 28lb aluminum shell and a 55lb steel winch cradle for a total weight of only 83lbs. Typical aftermarket bumpers are either made from steel or aluminum, with steel being strong but heavy and prone to rust while aluminum is lightweight and resists corrosion at the cost of higher price and less resilience. The clear solution is our hybrid design that combines the best of both materials to give you a strong, lightweight bumper that looks amazing. It’s modular, low profile, customizable, and has provisions for off-road lighting.
We strongly recommend you run this bumper with our Connector Skid plate to provide a seamless flow of protection. Otherwise, your cooler lines and other components will be exposed to possible damage.
Washer Fluid Reservoir Note: our bumper is NOT compatible with the Rago Fabrication Aqua Tank.
Most winches will fit this bumper with no issues, however if your winch height exceeds 10.1″, you may have to relocate your solenoid or slightly modify the crossmember. Specifically, WARN ZEON winches are 10.5″ tall and require this relocation and modification.
Installation may require minor alteration to front transmission line
