The Jehnert Plug & Play Center Speaker Crossover for 2019+ Mercedes Sprinter Vans from Nomadic Supply Company will harmoniously integrate the center speaker so that the factory tweeters and woofers can be heard properly.

In order to achieve sound performance, Nomadic Supply Company recommends the Jehnert Mercedes Sprinter Door/Dashboard/Cup Holder Speaker System Upgrade Kit (65740), which significantly increases the sound performance of the system with the additional amplifier and subwoofer.

Legitimate fix for a horrible MB sound system

The factory MB sound system is horrible, even on later models that address the center speaker wiring issue. I disconnected the center speaker on day 2 of ownership. Still crappy sounding but tolerable! This dongle surprised me, the sound stage filled in across the entire windshield. I was able to adjust the treble from -8 back to -1. I also bumped the mid range back toward 0 as well.
Previously settings were used to scale back harsh, tinny sounding vocals and drum symbols which was like scratching fingernails on a chalkboard.

As a result of the dongle and eq settings, the vocals are much more realistic sounding! The MB audio went from intolerable (center connected) to tolerable (center disconnected) to good sounding. It’s still not great sounding, but the dongle is worth the cost of admission!

A Definite Improvement

Upon initial installation I was unimpressed and became curious to what it would sound like if I just disconnected the speaker (like some you-tube videos suggest). With the speaker disconnected, to me, it sounded like it was totally missing the mid-range. I reinstalled the crossover and readjusted the bass, mid, and treble settings. With the settings adjusted I was able to achieve a decent sound. For the money, the crossover is a worthwhile investment. It's not going to work miracles, but it will definitely improve the sound.

Best simple fix to a design flaw in the Sprinter Stereo

Most simple fix to the otherwise painful sound of the overbearing center speaker. I couldn't be happier.

Great little 5 minute mod that makes a difference

The crossover cable worked although I had to modify the connector to work with my 2023 Sprinter 144 AWD. Sounds much better than the original overpowered front speaker.
